Kathleen, thanks for the input. The "sick == money" remark wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, it's something we find almost anywhere. People get 'stuck' in that mindset that all that matters is money (well, having more than their neighbours...). Typically manifests in "happy clappy family" on the surface, but serious issues behind the scenes.
That's why we're mentioning that it is so important to look at the broader picture and figure out how money and job fit into 'life'.

I'll have one of my support guys sort you out with the rest of the series.

Cheers

I just started following you and one of the people you follow to get an international perspective.

These two questions are PERFECT to distinguish yourself from the pack and also get to the heart of what you need to know in order to get the right culture and values fit. Maybe someone here in "The States" has also said these magic words but here (as a true cynic)they give you the carrot and make you pay for the stick (the actual questions).

The sick people money remark stung, I wonder if it is true that Americans are much more money focused than the rest of the world or else, I know a lot of sick people!

Please send me the rest of the series. I am part of a large job search group that would benefit from you advise.
